Brittney was born and raised in Oregon and has held a wide range of community oriented positions that focus on education of sustainable food systems. She has worked in school gardens to create lifelong vegetable eaters and growers, in winery and resort gardens educating tourists on the delicate balance of Oregon’s ecosystem, and on small family-owned vegetable farms supplying nutritious food for the Willamette Valley’s bursting food economy. She works as the Community Engagement Director focusing on supporting farmers and making sure they have the resources needed to thrive and organizing community events such as InFARMation.
