1890 Willamette Grass Fed Farm brings you the best 100% grass fed beef from the heart of the Willamette Valley. Our family owned and operated farm revolves around the motto “love and respect”. We love spending our days ensuring our cows are happy and healthy.
Production Practices:
Our cows are grain-free, 100% grass fed as nature intended. We never use growth hormones or steroids. Calves stay with their mothers 8-9 months. Mobile slaughter comes to our farm to eliminate stress from hauling – calm, happy cows make the best beef!

Grazing, Pasture and Nutrient Management Practices:
At 1890 Willamette Grass Fed Farm we do our best to always follow nature. Cows are ruminants and made to eat grass – our job is getting them the tastiest mouthfuls every day. We use rotational grazing to achieve that. Our pastures are maintained with manure and hand- digging of unwanted weeds. Rodents are controlled by the best barn cats in the West.
Environmental Conservation:
To protect pollinators, soil microbial life, the watershed, and our neighbors, we do not use any herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizer on our farm. We have undertaken a woodland planting program to create improved habitat for wild residents of the farm.
