Farmer Social

June 15 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Friends of Family Farmers invites you to a Virtual Farmer Social. Join us on Monday, June 15th from 7:30 to 9 pm to talk about how your farming plan has changed since the proliferation of COVID 19. There will be a suggested topic and some light facilitation from FoFF staff to make sure everyone is heard and keep the conversation going, otherwise this is purely a space for farmers to talk with other small and mid-sized Oregon farmers.

Many choose farming as a career because of a strong connection to the land, a desire to feed your community, a family legacy, or a need to be part of building a better, healthier world for the future.  But in a time like this, our choice to live on the land and raise food could make farmers and ranchers feel more isolated than ever.

FoFF has always brought farmers together to share ideas, commiserate on common roadblocks, seek advice and find creative solutions. We want to continue to serve that purpose for family farmers across the state despite the pandemic. Together, we can help tackle our common problems and develop solutions to keep Oregon a great place to live and farm.
Stay tuned! More details to come…
