Farmer Advocacy Workshop: Giving Testimony

FoFF’s goal in this advocacy workshop is to increase the number of farmers giving testimony in the 2023 legislative session. Legislators hearing directly from the farmers has a major impact on the outcome. Come to this workshop, the second in a series of three, to learn how to find information on a bill (in OLIS), what the opportunities for testimony are, where/when in the process they occur, what is most relevant to communicate, the benefits of oral vs written testimony and what is the impact of constituent testimony. We are partnering with PCUN to help you understand the importance of testimony in the legislative session and how to use your voice to gain collective power.
