Agritourism – What Now?

Friends of Family Farmers participated in the rulemaking advisory committee (RAC) at DLCD regarding the changes to farm stands that were spurred on by a legislative working group related to HB 3133 which would have made sweeping changes in the 2025 legislative session.

FoFF has always been by and for small and midsize farmers and we have been having a lot of community meetings and discussion on this topic with the people we serve. Although things are on hold right now as the Governor put a pause on any rule making changes, they are reassessing the next steps. One thing we know is this conversation isn’t ending and will likely be happening in the 2026 Legislative (short) Session. Join us virtually on October 30th from 12-1pm for a lunch and learn so we can all get on the same page when it comes to current rules and regulations.
