December 10th: ‘Tis the season for giving: Give!Guide giving party: Join us for a fun and inspirational evening as we showcase several Portland based non-profits making a difference in the community through food and agriculture. These groups, along with FoFF are part of the 2013 Willamette Week Give!Guide.
November 12th:Training the Next Generation of Oregon Farmers and Ranchers: Despite the resurgence of interest in agriculture, the availability of land, resources and educational opportunities for new and young farmers/ranchers remains limited. However, like FoFF, there are people working hard to address these needs with creative solutions. Join us as we highlight some fantastic work being done to provide training opportunities and tools for Oregon’s next generation of family farmers.
October 8th: GMO’s: Efforts to implement safeguards at the local, state and federal levels. We will feature a panel of folks working to reclaim control of our food system. Plus FoFF will take a few minutes to share information on the Food Safety Modernization Act and let you know how you can engage in this sweeping federal reform of food safety laws.
September 10th: Pro Pasture: Come learn about FoFF’s new Pro-Pasture campaign and hear from a panel of producers and experts about the animal, human and environmental benefits to sustainable pasture-based meat and dairy production systems.
August 13th: Farm Workers in Oregon: The contributions and struggles of farm workers are often invisible to the general public. For the August InFARMation, we will raise awareness about farm workers in Oregon and the on the ground organizing being done to create effective and lasting improvements.

July 9th: Bees: We explored the world of honeybees & lesser known native species, talked about some of the biggest issues facing our pollinator friends today, including agriculture itself.
April 9th: Canola in the Willamette Valley: Do you love broccoli? How about kale? Up until very recently canola production was banned from the Willamette Valley. Hear about the canola issue from a variety of farmers and experts on why commodity canola production in the Willamette Valley not only impacts their livelihoods but our food supply from local to global.
March 12th: CSA & SNAP: We will take a look at SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and the work that is being done help CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farmers navigate the process to be able to accept SNAP dollars and help make good food accessible to Oregonians of all incomes.
Feb 12th: Policy 101: Join us to learn which small farmer and rancher legislative priorities FoFF will advocate for during the upcoming legislative session, get an understanding of how a bill becomes a law and find out how you can engage in the process. Panelist information forthcoming.
